Fire Allen and temporarily promote Nolan.
Trade Brees, Peterson, Ingram, and Viccaro.
Tank to pick first. Draft Darnold and ride the rookie qb salary back to prominence. The salary difference alone between Brees and Darnold could net a win or two.
Atlanta and Tampa Bay are much better than us and I think Carolina is also slightly better.

We have enough problems without creating more. Besides Brees has a no trade clause. This team did not focus and solve it's core problem last year, lack of a pass rush. The opposing QB's are having a picnic lounging around all day till their receivers are open while the opposition is in Brees face constantly. And our current staff just doesn't have the answers. Brees unfortunately will not see a playoff Saints team again as a player. Why keep him here when he could like Manning ride off into the sunset a champion with a team like Houston.

I would normally say fire Allen* but I have come to believe the biggest failure is SPs inability to either find or work with a successful DC. I saw a tweet today that Payton's lifetime winning pct minus when GreGG was here is at .500

7-9 seasons 3 times in a row. Yet, here we go again at 0-2. The arrogance of thinking they can just plug and play on offense is apparent. Honestly, their isn't a receiver on the roster that strikes fear in any opposing defense.
