With kamara’s agency being purchased, and the bad blood between Rich Paul and the NOLA cabal, I expect a little bad blood in any talks of extension. Kamara/Rich Paul are going to want a mint. The Saints are going to point towards a drop in production.

Rich Paul wants to make a splash in the NFL, much like he did in the NBA. I fully expect some dirty business will be afoot. With that said, I can only surmise a few teams Paul would be willing to send his client, unless of course Kamara lets it be known he only wants to be in NOLA.

Miami: this is the front runner, IMO. Kamara loves south beach, and they don’t have a marquee back, much less a marquee player. They can pair him with tua and just happen to have the 18th pick via a trade with the Steelers. Is 18 enough? I tend to think so, but I could also see the Saints offering their 4 for the Dolphins 3 as a sweetener.

Chargers: LA is the HQ of Klutch. The chargers have bad blood with Melvin Gordon. I could see the Saints going with Gordon and a 2 for Kamara.

Dallas: What better landing spot for the shiniest bauble in the NFL bag of Klutch other than big D. Jerry is all about big names in the big lights and pairing Kamara with Zeke would be very interesting. The 17th pick and probably another 4 for a 3 sweetener would probably be enough.

Just tossing out ideas, because I fear rough waters are ahead with Klutch. Thoughts?

I think you're overvaluing Kamara. No way is he worth a 1st round pick on the final year of his rookie deal and coming off injuries/lack of production. For reference, the last time we got a #1 for a player was Cooks and that was the #32 pick and a 3rd/4th rd swap. RBs wanting big $ arent worth a lot.

He’s not going to Dallas you want them to invest 30 million in running backs

If we are lucky enough to get a 2nd round pick for Kamara you take it all day.

I have no problem trading him because we just cant pay all these young guys coming up and we have to make tough decisions. But it wont be because of these pussies with Klutch.

i just dont see any way to justify paying kamara

hes great and all but we dont need him to win even though he could make winning easier, i just dont see the compelling need to pay him vs getting another RB in draft or FA at half the price to contribute just as well as he will

add to that he clearly was playing not to get hurt which shows he cant be trusted to give 110% to win games

The saints would shake the dolphins hand off. With that being said no way the dolphins trade a defensive play making superstar on year two of cheap 5 year deal for 1st only to then trade it for a running back they’re going to have to pay. I highly doubt any team gives up a first for a Rb.

Saints should not accept anything less than a 1st for Kamara.

So make a splash by going to the Dolphins and Chargers, two of the more irrelevant teams in the league? Or Dallas which has no use for him? That agent would be an idiot.

Maybe we can trade him for burrow amirite...

Kamara being marketed and Klutch picking suitors is more likely than many may want to realize. Teams that want to make a splash and increase marketing and ticket sales are going to be interested.

1) You are not getting a 1st round Pick, Probably a late 2 or early 3 and a 6th depending on the team.

2) You can pay Kamara if you are going to go younger at QB in the future. Say he could get the bulk in years 3 and 4 when the QB is cheaper.

If the Steelers give up 18 for Kamara they are morons.

If you think about it though, the Dolphins are likely getting a QB on a rookie deal the next five years with this draft. Getting him a proven weapon like Kamara that you could pay partly with what you save on the QB salary may very well be worth it.

That said, he’s likely getting the Saints a 2nd rounder at best.m given his inconsistencies this year, injured or not.

I think he has more value because of the business of the NFL. He is a marketing goldmine and an instant season ticket seller. The fish have plenty of picks to use, if they are inclined. Kamara loves south beach.
