Just think, what if Marcus Williams had laid out Stephon Diggs last year.

Saints would have won the Superbowl.
That is the message that the NFL is sending and if i were a lawyer I would 100% find any concussion victoms and use Sundays game as a prime example of why the NFL gives no care about player safety.
NFL better watch out, because Vince McMan knows the entertaimment business way better that Roger Goodell and they sure dont want to be competing against a league that will be superior to them once both are purely scripted field products.
Cant wait for the XFL,
Hey NFL, dont piss off people that directly give you money.

The only thing the NFL has going for it at this point is brand awareness and name recognition (of the teams).
I’ll watch teams I’ve never seen from places I’ve never heard of if it’s actual football. Not a rigged system that lets the rich get richer while people bend over backwards to support your crooked league.

Marcus Williams 100% made the correct move last year in diving to the ground and avoiding contact because GURANTEED we would have been flagged and lost on a FG.
The Saints only chance at winning that game was another defender catching up to Diggs or him accidentally stepping out.

This.
People say another competing league would never succeed against the NFL because nobody would care about the other league and its teams. I call bullshite on that.
I for one, would absolutely watch competing League as long as it was in high-def, the rules were fair, it was officiated evenly, it was actually on TV for us to watch and I had a hometown rooting interest in it.
I wanted so bad to get into the New Orleans VooDoo arena team but I couldn't because the games didn't consistently come on TV. Same thing with the New Orleans Pelicans for a long time. I couldn't pick up their games from St. Tammany because we can't get CST over there.
To me, accessibility is the biggest roadblock to a competing professional league in football.

I think you mean “Saints might have gone to the NFC Championship.”

Nah, hitting him early helmet to helmet would've been the correct move.

Or, you know, he could have just broke down and wrapped up instead of trying to make a hit

Guess what im trying to say is that he had the rite idea trying to avoid pass Interference. Alsmost as if he had been notified of the reff just waiting to throw a flag with any contact at all. Yes he didnt execute it well, but what happened this Sunday proves exactly what was going through his head, the NFL will do anything to get a bigger market/new stadium, etc to win in the playoffs.

That Defensive PI flag would have been flying if he had so much as touched Diggs with both hands before the pass arrived.
