With JPP likely out for most if not all the upcoming season, does that put pressure on the Saints to sign a top remaining pass rusher before the Bucs snatch them up?

Nope. If he was signable I imagine he would be with the team.

He is saying that JPP is rumored to miss the upcoming season so they are likely to try and pursue Ansah to take his place. So we should hurry if we really want him.

Ansah to the Seahawks by Friday. Just read a report on this. Bills are number two still in mix. Apparently Seattle is looking for the replacement to Frank Clark

Seahawks also have 25.7 mil in cap space. They can afford to take a chance. I'd be surprised if they didn't overpay for Ansah.

We don’t need Ansah anyway. I’m very confident in a 3 man rotation at DE of Jordan, Davenport and Hendrickson. Trey Hendrickson has flashed real pass rushing avility many times. I also think we may hit gold on Porter Gustin from USC. He’s a bit of a tweeter but he’s plenty big enough to play DE in a 4-3 front in passing situations. If he hadn’t been hurt as much as he was he would have been drafted in the first 3 rounds.
