Another blockbuster trade: Giants trading DE Jason Pierre-Paul and a 2018 fourth-round pick to Buccaneers for a 2018 third-round pick and a fourth-round pick, source tells ESPN.

Good. Brees hasn't beaten him enough in his career.

JPP could only do that to 3, maybe 4 fingers, no?

He's got this many

What is that? 8? 7 + .5 + .5 = 8

Something fishy about this trade. I just can’t put my finger on it.

Seemed like a good trade at first but he's costly, 29, and has only 16.5 sacks over the last 36 games/3 years.

The sack numbers aren't bad (about half a sack per game), but they aren't worth what he's being paid either. He's only had 2 years over 8.5 sacks, both of which came before he turned 26.

Bucs are on the hook for $12.5 mil, $14.5 mil, and $12.5 mil the next 3 years (if they keep him; if not they traded a 3rd for a one year rental which isn't too bad if he does something).

For the Giants this move saved them $2.5 mil on the cap (putting them around $7.5 mil in space) and got them out of a bad contract for an aging player while netting them a 3rd round pick.

Impressive trade. Somebody should give Tampa a hand for pulling this thing off.

This is so awkward. I love how his teammates are all standing around completely confused.

Have you watched the video of it? It's cringe worthy..

ETA:

Another "angle"(Language NSFW).
