They got tight, stropped running play action passes on first down and instead ran into 9-10 man box, etc. As predictable as the sun rises and so fricking stupid. Coaches would generally rather lose than take a risk. (Freakanomics proved it years ago)

I know what stats say but what do they they say about giving MVP QB ball With Chance to beat you.

Agreed. You see it time and time again and these coaches continue to shite the bed. You’re going against Tom Brady you can’t play that conservative.

You can NEVER take the foot off the gas against Brady and Belichick. What a complete frick up.

Didn’t help that the refs missed a blatant PI on a crucial Jags third down or an obvious hold on that last Lewis run. But Fournette should’ve dove for that ball on first down pass.

10 penalty yards versus 100 doesn't help either

It was like 11 vs 1. I have a hard time believing that the pats committed only 1 penalty in a whole game.
Sorry.
Nope.

But you gotta recognize it and step up and make more plays. Jags didn’t do it.

New England didn’t play the prevent defense like the saints.

You have to count on Pats getting all the calls, bring allowed to hold entire 4th quarter etc. they are Bama of the NFL. If you are not up by 3 scores or more you are fricked

There were 2-3 very obvious holds on the clinching third down run. None called. Very much like an Alabama game

Yea - how many times have we seen that this season in games all across the league? Hopefully a thorough officiating review is conducted in the offseason.

Bortles actually made a nice throw on their last gasp. Gilmore made a very nice play on the ball to knock it away for New England.

but it was a young Jags team going against a legendary combo of Belicheck-Brady. Just cause the Jaguars had mastered the Steelers this past season doesn't mean they were ready for the pressure against the Patriots.

I think things happened a lot faster for the Jaguars than they expected this past season and they just got caught up. There were some bad calls but welcome to the NFL... its not like the Jaguars were the first team ever to have a beef with the refs.
