Thanks for all the joy you gave us every Saints weekend for the last 15 years. And the feeling of still having a chance if there's time left on the clock and we need a score.

And I will never forget you giving us something I never thought I would experience a super bowl.

I'm sorry for making a thread about this but for some reason it hit me just now that 9 want be on the team.

Amen. One of the thrills of my life was being in the stadium in Miami when we won the Superbowl.

He stayed a few years too many but he was owed that. He turned the Saints into a house hold name and finally made us winners. I’ll forever be grateful he was a Saint and a damn good one.

Nothing but gratitude, love and respect for Drew. What a great ambassador for New Orleans. Best of luck to him in the future!

He’s given Saints fans something to look forward to every weekend of the season for 15 years. He’s given us a reason to watch- even if it didn’t work out and we were left disappointed. Can’t say enough about him and his career. Will probably never see another like him ( hope we do). Sorry for all the self inflicted drama this last season, but thanks for the run. Won’t be the same without you.

I just want to say frick the NFL for the NOLA no call. Drew should have gone out, win or lose, in the Superbowl. The years that followed were just him chasing where he should have been as his body broke down.

It's really just hitting me today as I'm watching all these tribute videos. He was way, way more than just our quarterback. We all knew it was coming, but it hurts...

What's really hitting me is he should have walked off to n entire stadium of cheering fans.

One day soon he'll get to come back and get the ovation he deserves.

I’m going to miss number 9, he made both the Saints and New Orleans better. As for some saying he stayed a year or two to long, that was his choice to make, almost like having your opinion of things not everyone’s going to agree with your choices. More power to you Drew, good luck at NBC and if you get bored with that N.O. needs a new Mayor, the hardest part of being a politician is getting your spine removed and half your brains knocked out.

He wore a rapist’s name on his helmet. How do you respect that?
