Most recent mock drafts have ‘experts’ picking Trask to saints. Just made me wonder if Payton would rather Hill or Jameis when Brees retires.

Drafting “a QB” doesn’t mean shite. You have to draft a good one. Trask will be arse in the nfl

Trask has no where near the pocket awareness that Brees has.

Why? Taysom Hill is the future

Finally a healthy, good defense. Finally an O line with no holes or weaknesses. Draft another big RB in the 3rd/4th and continue to build the defense with early picks. Taysom is young and healthy enough to have 15 years of hard nosed 2020 Tennessee Titans brand football.

The Saints almost always choose the highest rated player available on their board. It’s doubtful that will be a QB by the time they pick, as the top four shall likely be gone. I expect a cornerback to replace Lattimore.

Yeah i don't like Trask. But maybe Sean takes a QB that falls a little. If Lance, Wilson or Mac Jones makes it to the 2nd I could see a trade up to select one of those QBs.

He's 30 now. Hill would be lucky to get 5 years as a full time starter with his style of play. If he can taper down the hits and make faster reads in the pocket (where he's more prone to injury IMO), he may be able to get 8-10 years.

You mean the 20 year NFL vet has more pocket awareness than a 22 year old college player? Get out.
