This was absolutely hideous. We looked like dog shite. It’s a travesty. I wish Bobby Hebert was still at the helm.
I kid. I was fricked up in the pool watching the game. I didn’t see much other than Lutz kicking off. Go Saint. frick the Falcons.

The Saints usually start slow. Hell, they lost badly to Tampa week 1 last year, and had a putrid start the year before that. If this bothers you, go find a new hobby for the next 8 weeks.

The terrible kicker really ignited the team last year. They may be too confident right now but preseason means nothing.

I'm not even upset with the 1st team D giving up a TD on the opening drive
they always seem to give up early scores and then get better as the game goes on

What frustrates me is that every preseason we see the starters for very limited minutes. They look very mediocre. And then we lose week 1 to the tune of 9 of our last 10.
Yeah I know it's important to keep players healthy, but it seems obvious to me that whatever the starters are supposed to be getting out of preseason, they aren't.
