All this thread needs now are appearances from Turd Saint & Riseupfromtheshitter to complete this pre draft throw down.

You’re proving my point for me. 8 LBs heavier without failed drug test.

Anyone who follows the draft knew about Gregory’s weight concerns, I’m surprised you don’t remember this brody

I never said Gregory didn't have weight concerns. So did Beasley & Floyd yet both were drafted in the top 10 of their respected drafts.
You can keep posting that Gregory slid only behind weight concerns but it was the off the field issues that caused his slide. Beasley & Floyd still went top 10 with issues concerning weight but neither had off the field issues hanging over their heads. You can't be this dumb but then again.....

this is my exact post
Gregory not only dropped because he failed numerous drug tests but he was also a 235lb edge rusher.
You going to actually read or you just looking to argue?

The drug test & combine interview issues caused his slide more than anything else. Scouts were ready to overlook his weight issues in comparison to his physical gifts. They weren't going to overlook substance abuse & mental issues. What part about that don't you understand? Beasley & Floyd were light in the arse too but didn't have those other issues which is why they went top 10 & Gregory didn't.

Would need to know why he left the team in the offseason

His dad came from Georgia to take him home to straighten him out. The dad caught wind of Arden's drug usage & relentless partying on campus.

Arden Key is available for the Saints 1st round pick, is he a take?
It can’t happen - he’s from LSU.

Beasley was 10lbs heavier(and like a 98% tile athlete) & Floyd 8lbs. When you are talking about the low end threshold weight for edge rushers, that is a lot of weight compared to 236.
You can count the 236lb edge rushers on one hand in the nfl. If there are more than 3 good ones who are strictly rushers I’d be surprised
Posted on 1/21/18 at 5:13 pm to BigBrod81
of course you have no response, because you know there are no 236lb pass rushers.
And if im always wrong, you should bet me. But again, you're scared cause you know im right.

Some of you people are fricking retarded if you wouldn’t take him at 27. If by some luck he’s sitting there, we’d have the opportunity to get THE steal of the first round. These same people who said they’d pass on him were probably pissed we took Lattimore over Jonathan Allen or Derek Barnett and Ram in general. His upside is too tremendous.

Randy Gregory is now 255 lbs & has been at that weight for some time now but guess what? It doesn't even matter at this point. He is still in the league's substance abuse program & still suspended by the NFL.

Him being 255 lbs isn't why he isn't currently playing.

Key’s better than Gregory. When Key’s in Shape (which he was towards the end of the year) there’s not one edge rusher better than him in the country. He’s gonna be an absolute stud on the next level.

FIFY
A year ago, Key was being touted as a legitimate threat to be #1 overall. Now suddenly he is being mentioned as a second rounder? You guys never learn despite this happening draft after draft. No one is questioning his physical abilities you idiot. Randy Gregory was deemed a can't miss top 10 pick until he failed a combine drug test & the word of his multiple failed test at Nebraska leaked. When word leaks of Key's failed test at LSU (Jalen Collins ring a bell) he can forget about the 1st round.
