Then the player that delivered the dirty hit should also have to leave the game.

I'd agree typically, but I don't think it was intentional like Whitner used to do. He led with his shoulder and caught his head, unfortunately.

I don't disagree but that hit wasn't that dirty, he tried to pull his head up. It's football and shite happens.

What? Cook was on his way down from a full extension catch. He definitely didn't try to hit him in the head. It's impossible to pull up that quick at full speed

They did is a favor. Cook blew his wad. Would have had nothing but drops after that first quarter.

Okay, let’s say if a player is penalized for delivering a hit that sends a player out of the game, then that player should also be removed.

I know it’s never going to happen because players can fake injuries and what not

I’m just saying, it’s not fair that Cook gets concussed and will have to sit for a few weeks and the player that delivered the hit doesn’t have to

He should at least be fined.

What if it's unintentional? This rule would apply to all teams, so let's say if Cam Jordan accidentally hits a WR in the exact same fashion and you know it's unintentional. Would you be ok with him sitting out due to an unfortunate play with no ill will?
