He could very well be our qb next year if wilson doesn't request a trade.

not sure what type of discounts can be further expected when teams like pittsburgh have a lot more money to spend.

Almost certainly another 1 year deal with a lot of incentives built in.

If I am Winston I do not accept another one year deal if a multi year offer is on the table from another team.

The reason is because A) you could get injured again and B) you have already seen what the Saints are without you.

If you take the one year deal then they will always be ready to replace you the next year.

I think it needs to be a 3 year deal. They can guarantee most, if not all, of it and give him a nice bonus to reduce the burden on next year's cap.

I'd start with something like
$500,000 for each touchdown
Subtract $250,000 for each interception.

And work on numbers from there. Hell we could possibly pay nothing for a quarterback lol

That's a very loose use of the word joke. Also based on just those two factors for pay, we'd owe him 9 million for his 33x30 season.

Joke: noun
something said or done to provoke laughter or cause amusement, as a witticism, a short and amusing anecdote, or a prankish act:

The market could very likely command 25-30M per year. Beats paying draft picks to Seattle and $35M a year to Wilson.

So Taysom Hill isnt currently playing on a contract that had 16 million guaranteed?

What Chad is saying is that white quarterbacks are only worth paying long-term contracts with guaranteed money. Either that or he thinks that Taysom Hill is our next franchise QB.
