bad loss

We lost by three on the road and shutout the home team in the second half. It was a whatever loss at a pretty good point in the season to do so. And we're 2 wins away from pretty much locking up the two seed. I bet we don't see Drew in the last two games of the year.

Very frustrating to lose how and where we did but I think it could wind up being the right loss at the right time, especially since almost everything else fell our way, the Bears even lost to the friggin' Giants, which is a way worse loss for them than that Cowboys game was for us.

In the grand scheme of things...it really wasn't a bad loss. The Bucs loss at home was much worse...even though it was week 1.

You can argue that it was a good loss. We let the entire league know that we have a defense now. We should now be viewed as more of a complete team that just had a bad game offensively (against a legit defense).

The Saints are the Rams' good loss.

Saints owe TB a receipt from week 1.

The best thing to happen to the Saints this week was Tampa Bay winning. Letdown at home coming off win vs Carolina. Plus a pissed off Saints offenss about to unload on a terrible defense

Yep. I think we'll do just fine against Tampa this week.

We put up 40 points on them in the loss. I seriously doubt we give up 48 points this time.

I'm working on a break-down of the Tampa game right now. Their team is so damn banged up right now. Almost every single DB they have is injured/banged up.

It'll be a mokney fricking all right. Tampa should get blasted. Last week was about as good of a loss as you could have.

Some people don't want to hear that though. They're still depressed/pissed about losing.

Breakdown of Tampa. We know the story on their offense...Jekyl & Hyde. Hopefully we get them on a bad day.

Their defense is in shambles with injuries. Just have to stop their pass rush...they're pretty damn good in that department.

On passing downs. This is pretty sick.
DE - Jason Pierre/Paul
DT - Gerald McCoy
DT - Vita Vea
DE - Carl Nassib. Vinny Curry will be playing DE as well.

Starters that are on IR
CB - Vernon Hargreaves
FS - Chris Conte
MLB - Kwon Alexander
TE - O.J. Howard (He was actually having a breakout year)
LB - Kendell Beckwith

Players that are questionable with injuries this week
WR - DeSean Jackson (thumb)
RT - Demar Dotson (knee)
DT - Rakeem Nunez Roches (knee)
CB - Brent Grimes (knee)
CB - Carlton Davis (knee)
CB - M.J. Stewart (foot)
SS - Justin Evans (toe)
SS/FS - Isaiah Johnson (concussion)

QB - Winston is solid right now.
-Jameis Winston - Won his job back 3 weeks ago. Has actually played well since then & hasn't been screwing up.

RB - Average at best here.
-Peyton Barber - He's had an average season. Scored a TD in the last 3 games.
-Ronald Jones (2nd round rookie) - Recently ruturned from injury, but hasn't produced.
-Jacquizz Rodgers - He's their best receiving option out of the backfield.

WR - They're actually pretty loaded here...even if DeSean Jackson doesn't play.
-Mike Evans - Another Pro Bowl year.
-DeSean Jackson - Didn't play last week. Started the season very strong, but has really slowed down.
-Chris Godwin - 49 catches, 676 yds, 5 TD's. Went over 100 yards last week.
-Adam Humphries - 53 catches, 606 yards, 5 TD's.

TE - Big weakness since OJ Howard went on IR
-Cameron Brate - He was injured to start the year, but has been VERY pedestrian since then. Not looking like his old self.

OL - Demar Dotson not playing would be nice. Ali Marpet has turned into a good player.
-LT Donovan Smith - 63.8 pff...#53 OT.
-LG Ali Marpet - 73.2...#7 OG.
-OC Ryan Jensen - 55.9...#29 OC.
-RG Caleb Benenoch - 42.4...#76 OG.
-RT Demar Dotson - 68.3...#35 OT. He didn't start last week.
-Leonard Wester - 36.3 pff. Started for Demar Dotson at RT last week.

DT - They've been very banged up here, but they might finally be healthy.
-Gerald McCoy - He's been healthy for a little over a month. He has 4.5 sacks in 5 games since coming back.
-Beau Allen - Zero sacks. Probably a run stuffer. He rotates with Vita Vea
-Vita Vea - He's been healthy for the last 5 games. 2 sacks in 5 games.

DE - They're better here than I thought.
-Jason Pierre Paul - 11.5 sacks, 40 tackles. He has a 64.1 pff score, so he must be sub-par against the run.
-Vinny Curry - Banged up off & on this year. Played in 8 games...2.5 sacks, 16 tackles.
-Carl Nassib - 5.5 sacks in the last 7 games. 75.4 pff...#25 Edge Defender.
-William Gholston - They use him to stop the run.
-Noah Spence - Pretty much done for the year.

LB - Severely banged up, but not as bad a DB.
-WLB LaVonte David - Returned from an injury last week & played very well.
MLB Adarius Taylor - Replaced Kwon Alexander(IR). 40.4 pff...#79 LB.
-SLB DeVante Bond - Replaced Kendell Beckwith(IR). 37.4 pff.
-Kevin Minter - He's been playing recently due to injuries. Got a sack last week.

CB - This reminds me of the Saints CB situation like 2 years ago. DeVante Harris being involved in both situations can't be a coincidence.
-Vernon Hargreaves - IR. Done for the year.
-Brent Grimes - Didn't play week 13. 59.6 pff...#79 CB.
-Carlton Davis - Didn't play week 13. 55.7 pff...#95 CB.
-M.J. Stewart - Didn't play week 13. 58.4 pff...#86 CB.
-Ryan Smith - Started week 13. He actually has their best CB pff score. (66.0...#52 CB)
-DeVante Harris - Started week 13. First non-ST's playing time all year.

S - Just about as bad as CB.
-FS Chris Conte - IR. Done for the year.
-SS Justin Evans - Didn't play week 13. 67.6 pff...#47 S.
-SS Isaiah Johnson - Started week 13 & got a concussion.
-FS Jordan Whitehead - Filled in at FS after Conte went on IR. 65.5 pff...#53 S.
-Andrew Adams - Next Safety up. Should get PT if the above guys can't play.
