Higher percentage of bets on Saints, but higher percentage of money on the vikings.

Even though this game features the #1 and #10 defenses in terms of PPG allowed, 63% of bets and 83% of dollars are on the over. As a result, the total has gone from 44.5 to 45 since opening. Perhaps some bettors caught on to my “playoff dome overs” trend, which has now gone 26-8 since 2003.

I found the o/u portion more interesting. Barring a blowout loss, I think a game in the high 20s for both sides would probably be a good omen for us.

I tend to think the opposite. I think if we want to win this game we need to hold them to 17 or less.
If we are having to score 25+ points to win this game, against this defense, it's probably not a good sign.

I'm scared to death. These numbers favor the more invested-in team a whopping 51% of the time.
