Yes dreams do come true, but if Walt Disney himself were alive, I don't think he could will the Panthers to a win Sunday. And yes anything can happen. The one thing that is most likely and best for the Saints to happen, if they are the 5th seed, is Green Bay be the 6th seed. That could very well be the key to the Saints playing all the games in dome Stadiums. Plus, it will bring the NFCCG back to the Superdome.

Here's how it breaksdown and the beauty of it all, is that it's not far feached at all. The Packers are well adjusted to playing in bad weather.

If they both win in wildcard week and the divisional round here are the matchups.

Saints at Rams/Seattle (with Hassleback out, the Rams look to be the team)
Saints at Falcons

Green Bay at Eagles
Green Bay at Bears

Setting up the NFCCG Packers at Saints.

Looking at it, this could be the first time the 5th and 6th seeds are this good. Also, I'm not certain so correct me if I'm wrong, but this would be the first time a 5th and 6th seed play eachother in either the AFC/NFC championship game.

This could be a very exciting playoff run. Hope everyone is getting as excited as me.

I think if GB beat Philly, they would end up playing Atlanta on the road.
6 seed beats 3 seed, --> 6 seed plays 1 seed

When we beat 4 seed, we would play 2 seed (Chi)

but yea, if both NO and GB win out, the NFCCG is played in the dome.

I think your scenario is unfortunately incorrect. If GB is the 6 seed and win, they will play the 1 seed Atlanta, and we will get the 2 seed Bears if we win.

You suck. Sorry for being blunt.

Correct, the Saints would play the Bears if Green Bay wins. (Atlanta plays the lowest seed). Basically, we will need to play the bears to go to the big dance unless if the Eagles beat the bears. If that happens, then we would need to play the NFC Champ game in Philly. I would rather play the NFC Champ in chicago. We are due a win against them (3 losses in 5 seasons, including this season)

Props Brother! I'm so hell bent on not going to Chicago, that I put us there in that scenerio. BTW, I would put any dollar amount up that I've witnessed more losing games, in person, in the Dome than TheBoat has witnessed his entire life in person or live. Been going since the late 70s.

I think the OP scenario looks great, and I like the Saints chances of beating GB (I think our pass defense is ranked #3), but there is a lot of football to be played for that to happen just right.

Either way, I don't think there is a NFC playoff team out there saying "man I hope we get to play the Saints in the playoffs". Probably just the opposite.

yeah theres a lot wrong with the OP. First off, it could easily be green bay or the giants. then if the 6th seed wins, we go to Chicago, which as we all know, sucks.

so who would you rather play the falcons and win, giants or packers? thats who you root for this weekend.

Chicago has the worst field in the NFL and that is by design. Beating the Bears would be sweet, but that field will be in favor of the Bears. Not wanting to play on that field was my thinking, but my stupidity got in the way
