Thought he played well. Nothing spectacular but held his own.

Considering he was with them less than a week, not bad

I would grade him as "incomplete." Cannot objectively grade him when the Vikings spent the entire game picking on PJ Williams.

Though, his PI saved us a TD. I think he looked like a solid #2 corner and will only get better with reps.

I would give him a solid grade especially considering he arrived on Monday of last week. He faced 2 top 15-20 WRs and held up. He didn't get beat deep and his penalties were mostly the extreme ticky tacky and inconsistently called variety.

He's not a shut down corner and allowed a few catches/1st downs but at least he tackles his man before he gains 50 yards and/or scores.

He's definitely an upgrade over PJ Ole'Williams and Inactivated Crawley.

Apple reminds me of Crawley last year, but 2017 Crawley also made some nice pass deflections and timely ints.

Grade C plus

Probably a B. One pass int call against him was terrible, and the other was because he got run into and saved a TD by taking the penalty.

Other than that I thought he played pretty well, especially for only being here a week.

He played well. As well as you could expect for being on the team for a few days.

We really miss PRob though.

That was actually a very smart play. He screwed up initially, but at least kept them from getting the TD. Heads up even though he got a penalty. I have hope he can be a pretty decent second cornerback. Overall he had an ok performance. Gave up a decent amount of catches and yards, but I didn't expect anything crazy on the short time he's been here going against possibly the best WR tandem in the league.

Wasn’t it Tuesday or Wednesday before his first practice? For some reason I thought he arrived in NO Tuesday night

I am not sure what the check in procedures are for a new arrival...but between finding a place to stay, learning where the practice facility is, getting fitted, receiving a play book etc...it is kind of impressive how well he fared and the fact the team trusted him enough to start his first week here

if we are curving the grade for difficulty I think you can easily make the case that he deserves an A.

He was targeted a lot, second only to PJ, but he led the team in tackles...so at least he is making tackles even if was after the catch.

I still have nightmares of Ridley going untouched and unabated into the endzone.

Solid upgrade.

I'll try not to have this coming off as hating on Prob....but do people forget he was healthy when we gave up 48 to Tampa Bay? And on the field for the game we gave up 40+ to the Falcons?

He wasn’t a liability and that’s all we can ask for.
