Go Vikings.

i never once believed we were going to win the game last night. i never once believed that this was OUR season. we had too much adversity. too many things go wrong. injuries. penalties. HORRIBLE refereeing. this season was a huge step forward for the franchise.
we're going to have another killer draft because the dude responsible for drafting this one is going to pick even more. it's not a fluke.
drew has another few seasons for us to use him.
this couldn't be the worst loss in saints history. because there's no such thing as a terrible loss when you've tasted the sweet sweet taste of climbing the mountaintop top once. the worst loss is when you lose and you think you won't ever get there.
we got there once, and we'll get there again.
i'm rooting for the vikings and the jags and the eagles. anyone but the patriots.
share the love. we got to witness a ship in our lifetime.
for all the bitching and moaning, fricking go vikings. besides us before 2009, this was one of the most snakebit franchises in NFL history. hell, the path to our super bowl ended their fricking dream season.

i don't give a frick about what some idiots on their message board are saying. i watched with a few yesterday. and even up 17-0 they weren't celebrating. sometimes it's just your year.

there are no guarantees any year. i appreciate this year for what it was.
we started off terribly. we turned it around. drew brees had a great season. we drafted better than we could've imagined and weathered so many fricking injuries.
hell, we lost peat right before this game. it's ridiculous.
we weren't lucky this year. this year shouldn't have been this hard.
every game we fought the refs.

that team won. they beat us fair and square. they outplayed us. maybe their fans will get to experience something that we felt in 09. decades of mediocrity culminating in a championship.
it's why we watch football.
