If he doesn't make contact with the receiver, do you think the receiver catches the ball? Simple question.

Didn't think so.

So then it shouldn't have been pass interference. Pass interference is impeding the receiver's ability to make a catch. If the ball isn't catchable it doesn't matter if you tackle him to the ground, you didn't impede his ability to make a catch.

It was a shite attempt at coverage after he got cooked by the double move.

Shouldn’t have been called PI, ball was WAY under thrown, looked uncatchable the way his momentum was

Yes it was pass interference. He should have turned around and picked the ball off

You are making an estimation based on your favoritism. It will ALWAYS be called PI.

The only time they call uncatchable is if it is just beyond abundantly clearly uncatchable. A “he may not have been able to catch it” doesn’t equal uncatchable.

If he would have just got the frick of the way it would have been an interception.

I completely and thoroughly answered your question. You cherry picked the first line of my reply, asshat.

It was not clearly uncatchable. The end. Learn some reading comprehension.

If the Saints db’s would look back for the ball they would have 20 more interceptions rather than 20 fricking PI penalties called on them....

By rule it's PI, but that rule needs to be reexamined. On a badly underthrown ball, the receiver simply stops running, gets bumped by a db who has no clue the ball was underthrown, and draws the PI.

The db gets penalized for something he has zero control over.
