I think they plan to extend Vaccaro at some point

I don't think they'll do that this offseason. there's no benefit. also, Byrd is a June 1 cut and I'm not positive if that is included in this figure.

The only player I've seen real numbers on is Klein?

Anything on Ginn and Warford?

guaranteed portion on Fairley?

I haven't seen anything on anyone else either, but those numbers come from the NFLPA so I'm gonna roll with them.

Well there aren't a lot of players left to spend big money on.

Wouldn't be surprised if they went after Amukamura and maybe Sheard.

I'm gonna guess those deals aren't accounted for yet (not officially signed). That or they're severely backloaded.

Mike Lombardi is tweeting that the Cooks situation is getting resolved today one way or the other.

Pats/Titans in the mix.

Could being resolved meaning we don't trade him? I dislike the diva attitude but the offense with Warford and Ginn makes it a whole lot better than last year on paper...

I just don't see any way the WR group can move forward like this and not be super dysfunctional.

Ginn as WR4/KR would be impressive but I think we're too far down this road for him not to end up traded.

Man, that would be a ridiculous amount of speed. Imagine Cooks and Ginn running go routes on opposite sides of the field. Thomas and Snead would murder in the slot

Hope we do not settle. Supposedly Cooks has roster bonus due tomorrow, but only $700k, so not enough that we should rush into bad deal.

Byrd was released yesterday, but I don't know if that added to the number yesterday or if it didn't process until today.

His release put us right around $30 mil under, so all told we spent $9 mil on Fairley, Warford, Klein, Ginn, Snead, Kuhn, and a couple of other minimum players I'm forgetting.

Oh and everyone who thought we didn't have enough money to make more than 2-3 big splashes was dead wrong.

We can still sign 4 more high money players IF we wanted to and still have money left over.

Very possible, but his cap hit may not go up by much (just a fifth of the signing bonus if it's a 5 year deal). So maybe $3 mil tops.

When are they not? There's damn good reason 99% of all player deals are backloaded.

Byrd is a June 1 cut so his cap savings will not be added to cap room until June 1.
