Czarnecki grades it a D.
Kiper gives it a C-.
Prisco gives it an F.

Are these guys experts or a poor judge of talent?
What would Sean P grade it? Anyone interview him yet?

As much as I was pulling for you, there were also already threads with the "Experts" opinions on the Saints' draft.

I can't believe I'm saying this, because I love the shared indignation here as much as the next guy.

But I'm starting to think we're too sensitive around here.

I saw the one about Kiper and Prisco, but not one about multiple experts grading the draft.
I'd like to know what people think about multiple experts giving poor grades for this draft.
I haven't seen one expert give a good grade, like a B.

Not sure why people care so much about these grades. Without even knowing who we picked how can you grade it accurately without us even having a first or second round pick?

Thats because they seldomly go handing out B's. Most of them gave the Colts a "C" and they supposedly got the best player in the draft. Most of these guys know football, but grading a draft before seeing how the players actually performing should be left for the regular people like you and I.

With these grades it means the "experts" are a poor judge of talent or the Saints FO are a poor judge of talent.
The FO drafted these guys, now "experts" are saying the draft sucked for the Saints.
They can't both be right. Either the FO got it right or wrong.
There is not sensitivity at all. I'd just like to know if this draft sucked like the experts grade suggests, or the Saints FO is way smarter than these "experts".

Last year the "Experts" said and still say that the Mark Ingram trade was bad...as of right now that trade seems to be working out fine. The Saints got a good RB who with work and playing time can get better. He has shown no signs yet of being a bust or a bad pick. The Saints liked what they saw and wanted him on their roster badly enough to trade away a 1st round pick for him.

Not to mention if we had the pick, Goodell would have taken it.

I'm not calling you sensitive directly.

But this thread WAS meant to incite indignation at these stupid grades.

If Ingram doesn't stay healthy, he's a bust.

He absolutely HAS to stay healthy for me to consider him a good take.

I feel the same way about every player ever drafted. So the post draft grades are still invalid.
