Eli was actually pretty solid for most of the season but played poorly towards the end. I wouldn’t mind bringing him back if he would take similar money to PJ to play our 3rd outside corner. Would cut PRob just to save like 900k to put toward the deal.

I woulda took Eli over PJ if the money was in the same neighborhood. Maybe even up to 4 a year. He’s still young and plays the boundary corner which we need.

Sometimes this board...
Apple was our best corner through 6 games last year, ranking damn near the top of PFF scores for his position.
He hits the deck grabbing his knee at the end of the Bears game, and this board was like a funeral home..
Turns out, it's 'only' a hyperextension and he goes on to miss 0 frickin games, but definitely looks off..
Suddenly everybody agrees that he's always been terrible.. worst player ever.. rah rah rah
