saints wire USA today

John Hendrix of SB Nation first reported that the Saints initially believed Apple simply hyperextended his knee, escaping major injury. Nick Underhill of The Athletic also reported the same diagnosis.
However, it’s too soon to know for sure what Apple’s experiencing.

I hyper-extended mine playing ball in HS. Missed one game that's it.

Hopefully that’s all it is. That would be great.

So it's time to activate Crawley? He's our only other outside CB.

After that Clemson player punched a Louisville player this weekend, Dabo made him ride the managers bus home instead of the charter flight.

That's what it would feel like if Crawley had to play.

I never said he was great or even good or even average. But I appreciate the downvote for asking who steps up in Eli's place.

Crawley is reaching Jason David type PTSD on this board. Our cross to bear.

Any post with the word Crawley in it deserves an auto downvote.

To make it fair, I went and and downvoted the one that said he's awful, because it had the word "Crawley" in it and rules are rules.

I don't want to speak of things that I don't have personal experience with, but from what I understand for people who have hyper extended their knee, if there is not any ligament damage, the injury is more scary/uncomfortable than long term painful.

I guess it depends on the extent of the hyper extension.
