Drew told Cowherd yesterday how he relates to his young teammates

On Cowherd yesterday when asked how he relates to his young teammates, Drew said they teach him about rap and hip hop and he makes them listen to Pearl Jam,Nirvana and Metallica! lol

It's crazy to think that for the younger generation, rap and hip hop is the dominant music...

To be fair, rap has kind of gone the way of country music today in that it's a shell of it's former shelf. There are no Snoop's, Dre's, Pac's, Biggie's, Outkast's, etc, on the radio today.
What they have today is Lil Nas X and Post Malone.

Nothing on the radio is any good. Good hip hop is out there. You just have to look for it. Same for pretty much every genre.

Yep mainstream radio is awful. There's good rock and heavy metal music out there but it's on SiriusXM or online.

to be fair, that's a pretty low bar you are setting, with Snoop being the standard you are judging by...
a more apt comparison would be Lamar to Nas, and Nas wins that shite in a landslide... Lamar sounds like he still needs to hit puberty...

If you mean the genre Classic Rock, then no (though a genre based on a period is stupid).
