Former Purdue quarterback Drew Brees was a big part of history Tuesday night. He set a record for purchasing a college basketball jersey at auction — and it was totally worth it. Brees bought John Wooden’s game-worn basketball jersey from Purdue’s 1930-32 seasons at auction for $264,000, revealing himself as the anonymous buyer with a video during a Boilermakers on the Road event in Jeffersonville, Ind. The jersey will be displayed in Mackey arena “forever” according to Brees.

The current New Orleans Saints quarterback said he wished he could’ve been there in person, but weather forced his flight to be delayed.

Man I just hate that attention whore so much.....
It bothers me every time he does something cool with his money so he must be dying for attention in his old rich age........

am I doing this right?

That's just Walk On`s $$$ from Juban location alone. they act like it`s Ruth Chris out here.

These people will wait for an hour just to eat there. Let`s be real, some of there stuff is pretty good, but not wait worthy.
