Can't be serious. 30 is way too low. The guy touches the ball every down and leads the league in passing every year. Might even surpass Peyton Manning when it's all said and done. Teams have to build their entire gameplan on shutting him down. Makes the entire offense better including his offensive line due to his elite pocket awareness and never had an elite WR here(Colston was great not elite). He might be the biggest MVP in the NFL considering how terrible the Saints would be without him. Saints might not even be able to win a game without him. No way you can say he's below the top 15. That's crazy.

I know I'm a Saints fan and bias but c'mon. That list is just stupid.

I mean it's a player vote thing. You can have pretty ridiculous skewing on the overall rankings. Not saying the 30 ranking is correct, but it is what it is. Simply a popularity contest.

I'm actually more surprised by the fact it's player voted that has him so low. If anything, I figured they'd for sure have him high.

What a lot of fans and players are unaware of is that the vote sampling of NFL players for the top 100 is very small. The sampling is taken from players that are defined as "friends of the program". When a player appears on or is interviewed by the NFL Network and it's affiliate outlets, a top 100 form is presented to the player at the end of what they call doing the media interview car wash. This process can lead to a very slanted sample of a small group of players that may share the network bias or agenda. That's how Jimmy Graham was left off completely following a very successful year. All players in the NFL should be allowed to submit a top 100 form.

I am a big fan of the Honey Badger but how did he come in two spots ahead of Drew?

He is first team all pro i.e. the best player at his position in the whole league. By default he is better than a Very borderline top 5 player at a different position.

Okay, maybe so. And I guess age has something to do with it. But I have to go with the player who carried his team to a Super Bowl championship. I guess they consider that ancient history.

Don't think necessarily down voting you but the topic. Drew Brees @30 deserves all the downvotes it gets!

Yeah it's a TV show. It's not based on metrics or real data. It's not worth it to get fired up. All the want is a reaction and a reason to keep you watching. If his ranking pissed you off, change the channel. Don't keep watching just to say "Really, they put HIM ahead of Drew Brees?" They're playing you.

I gave up on this list the year that all the Miami alumni in the NFL admitted they rigged the list to get all their players at the top.

Way too low. Drew can use it for motivation. Don't
pull on Superman's cape.
