Watching highlights makes me realize how many plays he gives up to lesser talented players. He plays great against top notch receivers but time and time again gives up big plays to lesser talent. A true #1 CB would never be so up and down, save some money.

Im starting to get in that camp. I wouldnt go so far as to say "not pay him."
Id offer him like 12 per take it or leave it. The top 10 CBs are getting like 14 plus. Lowball offer take it or dont

He played like shite the first three games last year.

I blame the coaches. They need to splice Mike Evans into each week's film session and keep telling him on game day that whoever he is lined up against is Mike Evans.

We have to pay him but he doesn't deserve elite cb pay. He still a top 15 cb. I don't understand how he shuts down two of the better wr in the league Evans/Jones
