Klutch (sp?) Sports.

These guys are shitheads, and wouldn't expect anything less from a shithead agency than to have a player participate in camp, only to hold out less than 2 weeks before the first game. Remember this from three weeks ago?

I say kick rocks. Go get Fournette. Roll with him + Ty Montgomery.

I bet we could get some solid depth on the d-line in a trade for Kamara

Huge back. Fastest on the field in the open. Specializes in catching out of the backfield.

Definitely wouldn't work in a a Sean Payton system with Drew Brees getting him the ball. Def not.

Not saying it couldn't work but he's been underwhelming all 3 seasons.

Also him and Murray are similar backs. Murray is a bit faster but they're both big backs.

If you think Fournette is trash you are dumber than a box of rocks. Dude still has talent and can be become a 1500 yd rusher.

Whats your plan for Murray? Since you've clearly got it all figured out

Does anybody think Kamara will get between 12 and 16 million per year? I don't.

Per ESPN

"Kamara, 25, will likely seek a deal worth somewhere between the new deals signed during the offseason by fellow running backs Christian McCaffrey ($16 million per year) and Derrick Henry ($12.5 million), though that leaves a pretty wide margin in between."

When did a 1600 yard season with 70+ receptions become a trash player? That was 5th most in the nfl last year. Where was Kamara ranked last year?

Release him? Trade him? Keep him as a number 3? Or are you arguing that Fournette would not be an enormous upgrade? Quit acting like it isn't workable. It is

I would like to see Fournette on a squad with a good qb. Best he has had is Minshew

Demarious Bilbo was holding out Melvin Gordon for the Chargers last year. Thought he was worth a $40 mil deal. Lost about $3.5 mil just by holding out for 2 months and ended up signing this year on a 2 for $16 mil with Denver

Believe that will play into negations with Kamara

At the cost of trading Kamara and Murray less than 2 weeks before the season starts? yes that’s exactly what I’m arguing. This isn’t fantasy football, you don’t just plug and play players at random. You need to take off those LSU glasses

I don’t know why I’m even trying to make sense of your dumbass take

Fournette was 6th in the NFL in all-purpose yards last season.
Not saying Saints should sign him but he was far from underwhelming. His TEAM was underwhelming

He's averaged 4 yards a carry or over in 1/3 seasons. He's no where near Kamara's level of talent.

To put it in perspective

Kamara has 37 total tds over 3 years.
Fournette 19.

Kamara has DOUBLED the touchdowns with 72 Less touches.

Kamara's YPC:
6.1
4.6
4.7

Fournette:
3.9
3.3
4.3

It would be a cold day in hell when Alvin Kamara would average 3.3 yards a carry lol

Well, I'd like to see Kamara's yards after playing for Jacksonville the same years Fournette did.

Plus, comparing Jacksonville's offensive production to the Saints is incredibly stupid. Come on dude, that's pathetic.

I hope they aren't dumb enough to pay Kamara Henry money. RB's are a dime a dozen.

Dude what if you think Fournette is anything close to what Kamara is catching the ball out the backfield you are sorely mistaken. I’m a die hard LSU fan and think Fournette has the talent to bounce back but this thought of him to the saints is so stupid. Right now he is a poor mans adrian Peterson and we all saw how AP worked out in Nola. People forget just how fricking good Kamara is when he’s healthy, he had a down year last year after getting hurt but he is an absolute game changer when healthy. Pay the man

Y’all are looking at Fournettes all purpose yards last year but that’s giving him the ball every other down. His ypc average is terrible and he scored a grand total of 3, I repeat 3 touchdowns last year after all those carries. And almost a 5th of his rushing yards came in one game against Denver. Yes I think he makes an impact wherever he goes but I’m not taking him over Kamara. Take off the purple and gold glasses

This notion that the Saints have to pick up every lsu player that’s available or every big name player that gets released without taking into account of how that player fits is getting old. Last I checked we’ve been in the super bowl hunt the last 3 years so the staff is doing something right

2. Fournette isn’t a FA. He will get claimed off of waivers.

Jacksonville only has like 3 WR on the team. Everybody knows that they are gonna run the ball. That makes actually running the ball a lot harder. I think he will be a good pickup for someone. I wouldn’t mind seeing him in Black and Gold.

It’s not a contract holdout, he just didn’t want to wear a rapist’s name on his helmet....
