His kicks been looking kind of funky lately.

Morestead is fricking trash

Laces were in. Not his fault.

Feels like it. But his mechanics are still looking good so good chance it'll even out.

Feel like I remember him rolling his plant foot on a FG a few weeks ago. Could be a cause?
Posted on 1/3/21 at 4:36 pm to LPgolfer
Could be, and is probably the root of the problem, but he doesn't appear to be favoring or overcorrecting anymore so hopefully it'll even out.

He’s been so good the last few years. This is uncharacteristic for him.

Kickers miss. He's always made the clutch kicks, that's all I care about.
Posted on 1/3/21 at 4:47 pm to Tiger_n_ATL
A couple tweets hinting that he tweaked something on that miss in ATL that started it all.

Of course he messed something up
Lutz has been clutch his whole career

Morestead spun the laces from the side all the way to the kicking point when the ball was placed down. One has to wonder if that kind of act is intentional sabotage. I can't think of any other reason for a deliberate spin the wrong way job.

I think Lutz will be ok.
Morestead OTOH doesn't seem to be excelling in any aspect of his game (hang time, distance, or placement). Would seem unthinkable, but would Sean consider benching him in the playoffs for the rookie?

Thomas has been terrible and I think loyalty is the only reason he still has a job. He has been such a great punter, teammate, and human being here for a long time.
If he was here just a short time he would be gone already. Sean will let him retire after this year in an honorable way.

He has not been the same since he had to go in the injury tent after that missed kick ma few weeks ago. Let's hope it heals fast.

Tom does need to spin it correctly.
Go out getting it done Tom!

Sign some kicker hungry. Lutz is in his head. Let a hungry kicker in free agency do it

Oh it absolutely is!! He hasn’t let any of his punts get blocked or let any snaps go thru his hands but he is surely sabotaging his holds. GTFOOH

He has struggled recently for sure, but that 48 yarder yesterday was his best kick since the first Falcons game. He hit it cleanly and it was good from 55-60. Hopefully it’s a sign of solid performance to come.
