Do you think Kamara will ever get back to the player he was as a rookie?

Lets be honest the guy is no where close to what he was a couple years ago.

Not sure if its mental now because he is not on any kind of injury report but the dude is way off from what he used to be. shite load of stuffed runs and he may bounce 1 run out of 6 and pick up 6 yards.

The magic he used to bring to the table is gone, he hardly makes anyone miss.

To me he looks scared when he gets the ball ever since the Jacksonville game.

I really hope he becomes what he used to be because that was insane.

This current Kamara is nothing like he used to be.

Its crazy the regression, what the frick happened?

I wonder if his injury was more serious than reported.

I mean he is not close to what he used to be.

I don't think the problem is Kamara. It's 100% how we chose to use him this year. It's the same thing that happen to Bush as well.

They are not featured backs, but Payton overloaded their work load and the offense became predictable.

He is lost without Ingram to keep him hyped up.

Every since I saw him run outta bounds with ten yards of open space in the Tennessee game I knew he was not comin back.

100%? No, definitely not anything close to 100%.

Teams took him away. RBs catch passes in the flat against our D with nobody close to them. When Kamara catches a pass, there's 2 dudes waiting for him

high ankle sprain. look it up if you want to know how debilitating it is to anyone, especially a RB, and especially a RB with his playstyle

Kamara is just a guy now...there is a reason RBs only last, on average, for 3 years in the NFL>

Kamara is not an every down Back and when Ingram left Murray was supposed to fill the void and it did not work out.

But what really hurt was the OL. The teams that beat the Saints dominated the OL. Even the close games that the Saints won. Like the Cowboys game.

Nope. Ingram was the guy that kept Kamara pushing to be better. Now that he's gone look at his demeanor on the side line and in games. The effort is gone.

knowing that, I'm not sure why we rushed him back. The offense was fine with murray carrying the load, he should have continued to rest it.

still can't blame the ankle for falling down before a defender is within a 5 yards or not getting your dumbass lined up correctly in a critical situation

It was not smart by Payton. Kamara is so critical to what we do on offense that I think Payton put him out there once he was cleared by docs. He figured even a 70% Kamara was better than no Kamara.

I don't agree with this, but it's all I can make of this.

Human error man. This shite happens. Plus playing hurt can mess with your psyche and concentration. I do think his confidence was compromised this year due to playing hurt. His mental game definitely wasn't on point.

I am not worried about Kamara though. He will be fine in 2020 and people will look back at their reactions this year as too knee-jerk

I also think it's an injury and Payton forced him back in a bit too early. Part of why I think so was Payton's reaction when Kamara gave up on that 3rd down play that forced a 4th and 1. Old Kamara would have picked up that yard. If it was all Kamara's fault, I think Payton would have been livid - CSP just had that curious look on the sidelines. I'm not defending Kamara's play-style or attitude this season at all - you expect football players to push through injury and still play their hardest.

I was yelling at my TV yesterday for him to STOP FREAKING DANCING!!

Several times he caught a 1st down pass for 8 yds and instead of diving for the first down he tried to dance 2 or 3 defenders off and ended up getting tackled on his dance floor. Come on man!! Situational awareness!!

Take the 2-3 extra yards EVERY PLAY instead of hoping to break a big one 1 out of every 25 plays! It's what Emmitt Smith did well his entire career.

I want the end around on 3rd and short to Kamara to be stricken from the playbook.

Kamara thinks he's too big for New Orleans, or someone is telling him that.
