Why,

Ryan Griffin, of course.

50/50 500+ yards, 10+ TDs

There's no reason he shouldn't have these stats every game.

Seriously, with drew's shoulder history, the saints better be prepared. I doubt you'll need a qb this year or next year, but soon enough....

All I'm saying is that it almost looked like pre-season game 3 out there. The fact that he put up those stats just goes to show the talent he has, but no one can honestly deny he looked off a good bit today. Like it's been said already, communication with the receivers, like the one 3rd down pass that went to no one. I honestly can't remember ever seeing that with drew.

In reality, McCown is an excellent back up.
If we need him to play at some point, he won't let us down.

No. You saw his timing with Colston being off because he didn't play in the preseason.

Over worrying a little i think. Drew was off on a couple throws i admit. Its the first game and guess what happens he goes in watches film. Beats himself up about it and goes to work. Next game he's dead on and brees on the decline threads stop. This isn't Romo. This isn't Matt Ryan. Drew isn't a good enough guy

He is a perfectionist plain and simple if he was off today he's knows it he will fix it and be fine. I'm not ready to yell decline on a guy that's thrown over 5000 yard the least three seasons

I thought Drew was a little 'off' this game, not his usual self. That being said, we still won! Is it that we might expect to see perfection from DB ? Maybe, but don't ever let it be said I would want anyone else as our QB, even when he is not at his usual 'perfection' self!

As good as he looked, he still underthrew several deep balls today. Not sure if it's the fact that the younger guys have more speed that he has yet to adjust to or what but I'm 1000% confident he'll look at the game film and make the necessary adjustments.

noticed this too. we usually see better consistency from him, but even when he struggles hes still better than all but a few QBs.

ILl take it!

He played well, but there was a lot of miscommunication and weird throws.

Is that different than last year?
