I’d put him in the 15-20 range

Brown
Julio
Odell
Green
Hopkins
Evans
Thomas
Allen
Cooks
Fitzgerald
Thielen
Nelson
TY Hilton
D Thomas
Diggs
Baldwin
Tate
Adams

How many of these is he absolutely better than? I’d love Landry on this team don’t get me wrong, but he’s not a “indisputable” top 10-15 WR.

Yes, it is indisputable that he is a top 10-15 WR.

15 receivers who are more valuable or better than him:

Easily better, no questions asked:
1. Antonio Brown
2. Julio Jones
3. Nuk Hopkins
4. OBJ
5. Mike Evans
6. Adam Thielen
7. Michael Thomas
8. AJ Green
9. Doug Baldwin
10. Demaryius Thomas

You'd have a hard time convincing me these 5 aren't:
1. Brandin Cooks
2. Golden Tate
3. TY Hilton
4. Larry Fitzgerald
5. Amari Cooper

You could also add guys like Manny Sanders and Stefon Diggs.

Allen Robinson and Keenan Allen if you overlook the previous injuries

I think your top 8 are spot on, then a lot of guys who are inconsistent or old. Jarvis’s consistency is what makes him top 10, even if they are 7-8 yard passes. If he had the ability to take the top off of a defense he would be top 5, but he is between 9-12.

Keenan Allen is way better than Manny Sanders and Allen Robinson also.
And around the league decanter Adams is seen better than Jarvis Landry.
Love Jarvis just saying, he s bigger faster stronger and the 2014_2017 shouldn't count cause Adams didn't play much his rookie year.
Jarvis came out the womb ready to play

Adams the better player ?

Adams Career ('14-'17) (with Rogers as QB)
237 rec
2,811 yards
11.9 per rec
26 Tds
Highest catch % 63.2

Landry Career ('14-'17) (with shitty QBs)
400 rec
4,038 yards
10.1 per rec
22 TDs
Highest Catch % 75 never going lower than 66

2017 stats:

Jarvis
112 receptions on 161 targets (~70%)
987 yards
8.8 y/r
9 TDs

Davante
74 receptions on 114 targets (65%)
885 yards
12.0 y/r
10 TDs

and that was with Brett Hundley throwing him the football for the vast majority of the season.

I'm not saying Adams is better or worse than Jarvis, but it's definitely closer than your post suggests.

And, not that it works like this, but if you move out Davante's targets to what Jarvis had, his predicted stat line would be:

1,260 yards
~105 catches
14.5 touchdowns.

what's that?

He's averaged 76/1131/8 the past 3 seasons while averaging 15 yards a catch

I know youre not going to tell me Jarvis Landry is better than cooks, right?

.....I got news. Cooks actually regressed in his 4th year. Not exactly an elite thing to do

I am certain that going to a new offense, new team, new city, new division, etc, etc in his 4th year had nothing to do with that

just like I am sure that Miami being terrible and having to throw in garbage time on a weekly basis has no impact what so ever on Jarvis's stats

Jarvis would take a lot of coverage away from MT.

Both can catch the ball and get you YAC.

Throw in a good TE with the RB tandem and you have a offense that should be difficult to defend on multiple fronts.

Jarvis and MT are actually pretty similar. Both are conducive to Drew Brees' strengths as a passer.

That said, we still need a downfield threat more than anything to open things up for our guys underneath. An athletic TE could go a long way, like you said.
