He's really trying hard to get it, he's taking out every kickoff.

According to Kevin Spain, he needs 84.

@kspainTP: Darren Sproles needs 84 yards to break the #NFL record for all purpose yards in a season. #saints #nola #whodat

It would be a little easier if the DEF would force a few punts.

He'll only need a yard after he returns the next kickoff 109 yards

He's had negative yards on some screens as well.

He will probably get another 35-40 on kickoffs, and possibly another 10-15 on punts. Then again he could bust one long kickoff/punt/catch/run for 40+ yards as well.

109 yards

Do the yards deep in the endzones count? I guess they do since pick 6 returns from the endzones are recorded.

Looks like Drew might be sitting soon. More rushing opportunities for Sproles, but less screens I think.

Hopefully he can break one punt/run/kickoff for the rest of the yards.

I love how I am wrong. Keeping Brees in for screens.

You can tell Payton wants to run the clock out, but he's trying to get Sproles the record. Nice of him.
