Imagine of the refs wouldn't call Ticky tack fricking penalties on him almost every week.

It's laughable that we got him (on his rookie contract) for a 4th rounder.

Nothing like stealing legit talent from a shitty team during their fire sale. This guy was a top 10 pick.

Going to be hard to pay him though.

Ram, Lat, Rankins, Onyemata, Kamara, Williams, Bell all are going to get big money.

I think it’s well understood by everyone in the locker room that this is their final window to win it all given the outcomes of the last two years and each individual player’s respective probability to keep the continuity together on this team.

Our window is actually 2 more years (including this one).

After next year...contracts about to be plenty

Im guessing we made a mistake not picking up his option year.

No, I believe his option was like 10 million. If he balls out in a contract year, you take it. But he was not worth the 10 million based on his play last year.

I thought he played really well last year also. Like I said, I've never seen a db get so many bullshite PI calls on him.

yep, UFA, good news is that he's a former 1st round pick so if he leaves us, the patriots will get another compensatory pick.

It’s amazing how good these guys usually play in a contract year.

I'd say Eli started playing very good ball for us last year after he settled in, this is a continued progression of being in our system imo.

I know we didn't pick up his option, but we have had much worse second cornerbacks than him in recent years.
