I don't know why this is a surprise. I have heard that played in several games in the past. Including some NBA games. None involved a New Orleans team.

I like traditional New Orleans music but it does not get me hype & it does not get the crowd hype. Whatever traditional New Orleans music they played after the 2nd TD was a complete dud, might as well have been playing "Sit Down & Shut Up".
