Of all the names he intrigued me the most simply because we know how good the other guys available are but Trubisky has seen the highest of highs and lowest of lows. Do y’all think he could take the next step in a Sean Payton offense? His mobility is what really makes him interesting. Not a running QB but he’s a QB who can run if that makes sense. I think Sean could take advantage of that. The question is what kind of price will he come at?

As a true starter, I don't think so, aside from a handful of great games in his career the rest of the time he looks lost and appears to have zero confidence. But as great backup, yes.

It's worth kicking the tires if the price is right

I think so. I'd love to give him a shot.

Some of y’all just think Payton can take any bum and turn him into a stud. It ain’t that easy

Trubisky makes some really bad decisions. Like throw-into-triple-coverage-and-ignore-a-wide-open-guy-in-the-end-zone bad.

I really wanted Trubisky to be good, and was hoping he would get better, but after seeing him force bad throw after bad throw over a few games, I think he's a lost cause.

I mean you could look at him and see maybe it is Tannehill/Miami situation. He's shown flashes, but it just could not be put together and sustained.

Might be worth kicking the tires.

I think Sam Darnold has more potential as a reclamation project than Trubisky

He must be frustrating as hell for Bears fans because he threw some absolute dimes in that playoff game

How many SuperBowls did Sean Payton go to with Drew Brees, a HOF QB?

no...

Trubisky is greatest in an "underdog" role... but when expectations are heaped on him, he folds like a lawn chair...

having him replace Brees in NOLA, with how high the bar has been raised and all the expectations that come along with that, he'd NEVER get a fair shot with fans here, nor do I think he's someone that really makes you all that much better

Maybe, maybe not. I'm not really that interested in finding out the hard way if the answer is "no"

Imagine being Chicago under those circumstances. You take Mitch instead of Mahomes and he’s absolutely atrocious. You’ve gone seemingly forever without a great quarterback. And then Trubisky leaves and becomes elite with New Orleans.

The laughs we would have.

No. He just got a lot of hype pre draft. He's not a good QB or even good rehab QB prospect

No, he has physical limitations. Jameis has the tools. I want no part of trubisky

Not elite, but better than he has been.
