He's also a fricking buffoon & embarrassment to the state. At least Richmond released a statement and didn't get on the senate floor during a government shutdown to ramble on about this. I'm just as mad as everyone else, but his actions given the circumstances right now are fricking stupid.

God this guy is making the state look bad. The idiot should focus on making the game more fair due to sports gambling being a multi billion dollar industry to protect the citizen of USA

I applaud you, Cassidy, for your effort, but you missed on some key points. He dwelled on the grading of the refs, but missed on pointing out the clear bias of the refs given that at least three of them reside in or around L.A. Among other points, he could have used his time on the floor to open the door to the possibility this could be a direct result of a point-shaving racket as a result of the recent legalization of sports betting. If you're addressing the Senate, make all the points!
