As did I but like Klein I was willing to give it a chance.

I'm confused why we heavily went after him and gave him a good contract too. Haven't paid enough attention to him to know if he's doing good enough, but if he's getting almost no snaps, he can't be doing well.

I think they thought he could mentor both vonn and williams but also play.
They must of thought he was a wanted commodity and way overpaid.

Actually I listened to an interview he did on WWL a couple weeks ago and the guy actually has a lot of knowledge about playing defense and is mentoring the young DBs on the team.
One of things he touched on was helping the young guys with recognizing what the offense is doing based on alignment. He said that's something that only comes along with repetition and studying film.
Coleman was productive in Carolina. Not sure exactly why he's not seeing much of the field right now. Maybe lost a step all of a sudden

I think things are going to begin filtering backwards positively.
Front four is getting pressure consistently
Linebackers are looking faster as a result due to line dominating.
Secondary will come along with pressure as they will have to defend less.

It takes our team veterans 3 games to come around, and they've been in the system a while now. He'll pick it up. Still too early to say bust.

Klein hasn’t been bad the last few weeks. He has actually played solid.

Ginn got behind him 7-8 times last year in our 3 games against Carolina. He was clearly a descending defensive player and we went hard after him which is not surprising since that is the Saints MO for defensive backfield free agents. It’s almost like a prerequisite to even get a visit with us. You have to be over the hill and clearly going downhill.

They are coming around in coverage but his tackling has been garbage along with most of the DBs especially Monday night. There were 3-4 passes on 3rd down that we’re short of 1st down. They missed tackled.
