New Orleans Saints defensive end Charles Grant headed to injured reserve By Nakia Hogan, The Times-Picayune January 05, 2010, 10:58AM Saints starting left defensive end Charles Grant has had surgery to repair a torn triceps injury and has been placed on injured reserve, a Saints official confirmed Tuesday morning. It appears the injury occurred in the second quarter of Sunday's 23-10 season-finale loss to the Carolina Panthers. Grant suffered a similar injury last season that caused him to miss the last eight games of the season. Grant had 44 tackles and 5 1/2 sacks this season. Check back later for more details.

Is it too late to pick up anyone. When do playoff rosters have to be done?

Grant MUST go this offseason. Whatever it takes. Keep smith and draft a DE, a DT and a OLB. or get a DE via trade.

So much for the, "we are going to be as healthy as we've been all season once the playoffs get here" excuse.

McCray is useless also. he rushed like Rahim Alem, 15 yards upfield outta the play.

Although none of us are heading any Charles Grant fanclubs, I think it's still relatively safe to say that Grant is more productive than McCray.
