Was actually an above average nfl QB but was oft injured.
Agree. Was a huge fan of his. Felt he never got a fair shake.

you sound racist.
No. Affirmative action is racist. This is not debatable. Its inherently racist and unjust. 2 wrongs dont make a right. In todays political environment you can not discount that his perceived race may have been at least partly a factor in his hire, unfortunately. The dream was that people would be seen for the content of their character not the color of their skin. A meritocracy. Its flipped 180 degrees. We have a long way to go.

Get the frick out of here with that shite. This is the least racist State in the South. You need a history lesson? Know anything about the culture of this State?

I didn’t say affirmative action wasn’t a bad policy but implying a qualified guy only got the job cause he’s black is racist

You have no clue how affirmative action works obviously. If two candidates for a job are EQUAL in qualifications only then could ethnicity be used as a deciding factor. It's never been something used to give unqualified people jobs they didn't deserve. The only reason it was necessary was because employers actually would exclude candidates with equal or better qualifications due to skin color or other discriminatory factors.

NorthShore...your explanation/definition is perfect, but you can't be that naive.
I have no dog in this Leftwich fight.
I always liked the guy. Tough dude.
