How else you explain all the runs when the saints were behind in the 4th with very little time on the clock? Drew was hurt is the reason.
oh he was obviously hurt. Im just speaking on the severity.
He also threw the ball 30x after that play. Would be tough to do with a blow rotator cuff, in non Dr opinion

Gotta eat crow, this rumor is looking legit. I'm 0-3 on ST rumors, but I'm going to remain skeptical. How many times in a row can it land on red?
I saw Brett Favre at the training facility. I'm not sure if he is our backup plan or he heard Jen Hale was there.

At least you can admit being wrong. #respect

If they are downplaying it like CSP does, would they have had enough time for a specialist to look at shoulder and say "you probably need to shut this down"? Like it's not destroyed now, but...

Brees is a tough son of bitch who refuses to come off the field. It's obvious from him playing through previous injuries that he has a high threshold for pain.

Am I the only person that thinks this could be a good thing for the team in the longterm. (If it's not serious)
It may fk us for this yr, but the team is going to have to win without brees, and we may land a good draft position. Also, we may possibly get to see what we have in our highly invested 2nd backup qb (Doubt it though)
Now if hes fked for good and like may never be the same, then it isn't a net positive imo.

Implying we won't draft a colossal bust. lol.

The other flaw is my assumption that we wouldn't have had a high draft pick anyway; but I'll squeeze the sunshine out of a rotten pile of shite anyday.

Yes, you are the only one that thinks this is a good thing.
The best QB, err ah player, the Saints will likely ever have could be finished.
That fricking sucks.

It's pretty much a given now that the team will be drafting top 10 possibly top 5 in the next draft so that will help. Whether they restructure Brees or let his contract run out after next season then negotiate afterwards, Brees is not going to have much leverage to demand an extremely high salary.

I would have much preferred to have been banned for starting some BS rumor than for this to actually be true. Maybe he isn't out for the whole season or maybe they are just holding on to some hope he can come back. But what would be the point if we're 1-7 when he can play again. You guys killed me on the down votes. Talk about kill the messenger..

Yeah, it's not good either way.

I am concerned they don't have it in a sling. Instincts, muscle memory, whatever. It's when not if he unwittingly raises and extends that arm. Likely won't further injure it, but why take the risk with so much invested. Eager to hear the precise details and just hope it's the best possible news

MRI confirmed Drew Brees did not suffer serious shoulder injury Sunday, per @edwerderespn. Ability to play depends on response to treatment.

Doesn't this next draft class allegedly blow?
Posted on 9/21/15 at 4:13 pm to Lester Earl
Yeah, everyone having the funeral a little early here. Seems like he may miss 1 game at most
Posted on 9/21/15 at 4:14 pm to Lester Earl
Strief will eventually get him killed. This was a near miss.
