Either way, I believe the closest this thread comes to being accurate is that he has shoulder stiffness or soreness, maybe a sprained joint. Odds are he's not out for the season. And I hate fricking talking about this. He's on all 3 of my fantasy teams and the saints suck enough as it is...on the plus side, if true, we'll see what we have in Grayson maybe and we'll be getting the #1 overall pick

If it's true, do we go straight to Grayson? I would think we would give Luke a few weeks and see where we are. If in say week 8 we have 3 wins or less sit Luke and see what we have in Grayson. Teams have lost franchise QBs before and went on to make playoff runs.

All depends on which muscle of your RC you ended up tearing/straining though. Your supraspinatus is primarily responsible for raising your arm and likely the one you tore. The infraspinatus and teres minor rotate your arm externally or in an qb throwing motion backwards, the subscapularis internally or in a qb case forward. They also stabilize your glebohuneral joint but I won't bore yall with that. From the picture and reported subsequent weakness if I had to bet (if there is indeed a serious injury) I'd say drew has injured his subscapularis or maybe sustained a SLAP lesion due to the position of his arm when contacted.

do you think he would have been able to remain in the game had he suffered a season ending rotator cuff injury?

friends with Kat Terrell, Mike Triplett, Nick Underhill, Scott Alexander and many more. You can not believe me if you want to but we have the same circle we talk in on a certain chat. I really couldn't care less what you think about it buddy.

Baseball players do it all the time. I don't think it is something that "pops" all at once.

Not saying he did injure it, but it is possible that he could have played.

Something was obviously wrong for the saints to be behind in the 4th and running the ball.

I partially tore mine in football practice and kept practicing, granted I was a fullback and not a QB. Next baseball season I couldn't play b/c I still couldn't throw. I never had surgery though. Pain was worse the day after it happened although it hurt like hell when it first happened also.

well there are certain grades, and pitcher isnt going to be pitching thru a full tear of the rotator cuff, surely.

If he tore a subscap he would lose a ridiculous amount of strength on his forward throwing motion as well as stability in going backwards. This would obviously worsen depending on the severity of his tear. One thing he'd have going for him is his phenomenal lower body mechanics that he uses to throw. If it was JaMarcus he'd be fricked . He's obviously a tough guy who has played through a knee injury and an oblique injury which likely were very painful given his throwing motion so I'd imagine he'd give it a shot through the pain.

there is reporting news, and then there is attempting to report rumors in case they break, in order to gain notoriety.

I havent seen Terrell, Underhill or Tripplet say anything, probably because they are affiliated with the team and actually have something to lose for reporting a bullshite rumor.

I am out of my element in this for sure. I'm just thinking that unless it was an immediate trauma type thing he'd probably keep playing. He's probably had pain in some way or another since he was about 18 just from playing at that level.

Sources: #Saints believe QB Drew Brees has a shoulder injury that will likely cause him to miss games, potentially several games.

Watching the game on TV Sunday, there was a play where Brees was coming off the field and CSP kinda got in his face after the play....the TV announcers were commenting that they thought Brees changes the play from a passing play to a running play....help me remember when that was.....

anyone recall that?
