There is a suggestion on the OT that Lee circle be rebranded as Lee circle. I tried not to get too emotionally triggered by the whole confederate statue thing, but Brees Circle I could get excited about. How do we make this happen?

They can only name one statue after a player. They are going to reconstruct the face of Andrew Jackson to Ricky Jackson so we can still have Jackson Square

if we're going 2 replace the statue dont you think its appropriate for the replacement to be a black man....i mean come on man. putting brees up there you might as well put a george bush statue up. Im thinking a Will Smith state. Smith Circle. has a nice ring 2 it. the african americans of our gr8 city deserve some notoriety as well

Sooo...the only way people,New Orleans residents and the NOLA Mayor,would approve this is if the took all these statues down and put up monuments of black people? I say keep Lee Circle after General Robert E. Lee-the man earned the right to be up there
