Some elderly guy just called in to WWL and directly asked Bobby Hebert to comment on why Deke is not on the radio any more and Bobby said
“Deke is dealing with some stuff right now, corporate stuff and that’s all I can say”

Wow this whole time that I have seen this thread title I thought it read Deke is out at WWE, LOL. I knew he liked wrestling and since Wreslemania was coming to NO I thought it was saying he was working radio for the WWE event.
And I do listen to the WWL app (I live out of state) and haven't heard him lately but thought he was just on vacation or something, LOL.
To me he always sounded like he was trying to imitate Dusty Rhodes. And I agree with others sometimes he could be a Richard head.
