Don't have too much interest with my buddies here in MS. Really thinking about making it to Minneapolis. We are off Monday and the drive isn't that terrible. It's a great city!

Is there anyway to actually coordinate people on this site and see who'd be in? I know most of us on here are 20-30 something males...seems like an epic trip if we could pull something together.

Thinking about it.

Looks like the high for Saturday is 4. Sunday it'll be down a few degrees to 2. No snow in the forecast.

Seriously considering going—per iPhone weather app high of 4 and low of -11 but sunny next weekend. Is there a direct flight to minn from msy?

We need to have a TigerDroppings section. I wish I could rent a car and then take whoever here wants to go. Roundtrip are running $500 from Memphis to Minny. But I like having a car with me.

Nosebleed corners are $175 + tax. Upper deck midfield $200-225. Middle zone $275-300.

The drive is not direct, and can be kind of maddening as it zig zags more the further north you get. The bulk of the trip is spent in Illinois.

That said, it is a manageable 18-20 hours, depending on speed and beer stops. PSA: MN now sells alcohol on Sundays from 11-6.

It's 13 hours from Oxford. But, you never go through Illinois?

Delta flies direct- MSP ia a hub.

There is not a bad seat in the house. It is a nice place. The corner nosebleeds will be furthest from the field (probably true in every venue...).

I was just looking at tickets and honestly $250 for middle layer isn't all that bad. Seems like ticket prices haven't gone up for games in a decade.

If you are not going through Illinois, then you are probably being routed North from St. Louis to Minneapolis on the Avenue of the Saints. Don't do it. It is a great slogan, but simply a patchwork of state highways, some with limited access, some not so much. Takes you through a series of river towns, each with a "Finn and Sawyer" pizza joint and "Tom and Huck laundromat."
