Any decision delegitimizes the Super Bowl results

The NFL isn’t coming out of this unscathed no matter what happens.
Option 1- Keep Pats/Rams. The Pats win. People will question how the would have done against the Saints
Option 2 Keep Pats/Rams. The Rams win. People would question the results. Saying the Rams didn’t earn there way to the SB.
Option 3 Replay the game at the PI non call and Rams win and beat the Pats. People would question the NFL as to why they got to that situation to begin with to have a replay.
Option 4 Replay the game at the PI non call and Saints win. Then go beat the Pats. People would again question the NFL and say the Saints just got there cause they complained.
Option 5 Rams win the replay. Pats win the SB. Again with the questions about the entire situation.
Bottom line, without some serious PR work, the legitimacy and integrity of the NFL is taking a huge hit this off season.

I’m very interested in what happens to Robey-Coleman. The launched helmet to helmet hit usually warrants a fine.

Well not only the launch helmet to helmet but the fact that he almost seems to be bragging about it. NFL usually nips that really quick but nothing but crickets right now. It's very interesting and unusual.

Option 6 - Replay NFC game, at foul, Saints win, get blown out by Pat's. NFL looks ridiculously stupid.

Cause they know that no matter what they decide they’re gonna look bad afterwards.

I agree. I accidentally downvoted you. I fat fingered it on my phone.

And in the same breath non of these options will help the Saints, even if game is replayed at point of foul. Nothing will eradicate the fact that a foul was not called right there and then. We will be considered sore losers, coach Payton will be hated and Brees legacy takes a hit. No one will gain anything from this debacle.

I would be surprised in anything happens, admits they blew the call. If something does happen, it will be after the Super Bowl or kept totally quiet.

Good point about a possible Robey-Coleman fine. If the NFL fines him then they are admitting he committed a foul. Which would open the door even more as to why the flag wasn’t thrown.
If they don’t fine him they are taking away all credibility they might have left.

I personally think that while fans of other teams will agree that we were robbed, they will move on and forget about it (probably already have). Especially if the NFL changes the rule to allow reviews over PIs. And we will be left as the only ones who remember how badly we were robbed by the NFL....again

And the refs will be waiting for their opportunity to frick the Saints with the new rule as payback for unwanted scrutiny.

That mofo roby had two of the worst PIs of the year and neither got called. Hes got dirt on Goodell.

None of these are happening.

Eh, maybe, but most of the rest of the country will forget about this shortly.

I suppose, but it's not like the Rams are a bad team. In fact, one could conclude that they would have beat us on a neutral field on Sunday. The crowd was loud and was possibly one of the largest home field advantages in recent memory. The Rams played damn well and was honestly probably the better team.

One more reason I am hopeful that Goodell loses his job over this.

Same could be said about the targeting on Josh Hill that gave him a concussion and knocked him out of the game.

No, but the Dome was probably a solid 5 point advantage on Sunday. My point was, it’s not like we dominated the game. The Rams are a good team.
It’s funny, some here think if you don’t believe in a massive conspiracy, are not willing to kidnap and kill Vinovich or his family, and don’t question every call made in the game then you are a troll.

From the mass amount of people (across the country) screaming about this, i don't think people would question it
I think everyone knows we won that game and should be the NFC Representative
Sore losers isn't the correct term here. You got screwed. You didn't lose.

ask the raiders if they forgot the tuck rule being invented right there on the spot to rig a game for the pats?
no one will ever forget or forgive but the NFL will, just like back then, ignore it all and continue as if it never happened.
