Today’s NFL needs a QB with arm strength and mobility. The 2 most lacking traits from Drew.
You don’t need to be able to throw 70 or 80 but you need to be able to throw at least 40 effectively. Brees couldn’t do that anymore. Brady is still capable of it currently. It is what it is. Mobility is more of a plus than a negative. You don’t have to have a mobile qb but it is hard to defend if you do.

Tom Brady is amazing, but he’s more the exception than the rule at this point in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Aaron Rodgers, Deshaun Watson, Russell Wilson, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Kyler Murray, etc.. are the types that are more commonplace in the league now. Even rookies this year, Lawrence, Wilson, Lance and Fields went before Mac Jones and Kyle Trask for a reason. It’s obviously possible to succeed without great mobility and arm strength, it’s just more likely that players with more elements to their game do so because it gives them more margin for error.

Only issue I get nervous about is how much Kamara's production fell when Brees was out.
