Having an argument with my buddy (no pics!) and I say Kamara, he says Thomas, thoughts? Since our over under is 9 (out of 17) have to think we need big years from both, but which is more key?

Thanks

Kamara. He can be our leading rusher and leading receiver conceivably. Thomas can only catch.

Peat. He is the highest paid guard in the league. 2 year pro bowler. Massive legs. Sean's best bud. Everything about him oozes black and gold. We should be honored to witness his greatness.

Winston is not an important piece, heck he may not even be the starter. This is not a single player team anymore. RB and defensive are the keys to this team going forward.

I’d have to say Cesar Ruiz. We know the rest of the OL is good to go, even Peat to a lesser extent. If Ruiz can not be the chink in the armor of that OL and just be decent then Winston will be ok. If teams know they can attack up the middle at Ruiz then Jameis is in trouble.

Well we know that isnt happening. I think Kamara is very important for Winston personally. We have a good backup lineman, so whereas it would suck to have our stud LT go out, losing Kamara would strangle our offense and force Winston to potentially turn the ball over too much.

Now on defense, we cant lose Onyemata, Davis, Lattimore, Williams, even Davenport. Defensive depth is night and day from last year…

I am assuming you are only talking skill positions because the o-line as a whole is the most important part of the offense. A defense puts consistent pressure on any QB, you start seeing TOs and stalled drives.

Of the skill players, AK is the most important because he forces the defense to key in on the backfield. And, with a QB with arm talent, he'll keep the Safetys from dropping too far back.

I'll assume that the run game is off, MT is double-teamed, and that a budding star emerges.

The offense ran through Brees for like 15 years. Now it’s built around Kamara. So him

You guys are crazy of coarse it’s Winston. We need him to be an above average QB to get to the playoffs and a great QB to win the championship.
