you should probably update it with the cowboys taking darnell savage. Not sure why somebody else made that pick. But there is 0.0000% chance they are taking a d end. They need a safety.

Okay--here we go. Not a sexy pick, and probably won't be a popular pick on here.

Saints select Connor McGovern, G/C, Penn State

RATIONALE:

*The Saints are not looking for starters at any position
*Andrus Peat is an UFA in 2020
*The main backup, Josh LeRibeus, is unsigned
*This guy is not expected to be or needed as a day one starter. He looks to be a 1-2 year developmental guy, like most people in this spot.
*I've seen this guy as high as 31 and as low as the low 100s, so this seems like a reasonable spot for him.

I know a WR, TE or DB would be more popular picks, but there is still quality there later in the draft.

I like the pick. Keeping Drew clean, and eliminating pressure up the middle are two of the most important ingredients to a successful season. Always have been, always will be.

KC Chiefs select Lonnie Johnson Jr - CB, Kentucky

Kansas City further bolstering their secondary with an experienced, big, athletic corner. He surprised scouts with a mid 4.4 forty and shows enough upside to warrant a late 2nd round selection.

Give me Oshane Ximines from ODU for the Pats

Bennett is a stop gap and he'll play a bunch of snaps in a pass rushing role

He could be van noy with more upside

I still want a guy that’s ready to make an impact in 2019.

There is no 2020.

I would bet pretty heavily he'd play meaningful snaps in 2019
