Any informed opinions on the positions we target?

We target Tight End and we're jumping back into the 2nd rd to get him.

Given the all in we've already done I can see this if their guy is there oddly enough.

We could really use a good TE.

Hoping someone like Austin Corbett could slip to us, but unlikely.

Dante Pettis or Equinemious St Brown.

Could also get Malik Jefferson.

Mark Andrews. Hell Gesicki MIGHT be there

SP said he wanted to come out of this draft with an edge rusher, LB, OL and TE.

Normally you can't believe SP's pre-draft statements because he's usually so secretive and throws up smokescreens before drafting a player at a position no one was linking to the Saints.

Then he went and got his edge rusher, so that's checked off the list.

But he also said in his presser that they strongly considered LB Edmunds, so that tells you he is serious about trying to check off that grocery list.

Payton has been saying edge rusher is our biggest need to anyone who would listen this off season

Hard to say but I wouldn't be surprised if we jumped back into the 2nd to grab someone we have graded highly. We still have a 3rd, 4th, 5th, two 6ths and a 7th rounder that we could package up. I think we will pick an interior OL in round 4 or 5 since this draft is said to be deep in that position. I think if we move into the 2nd its for a LB'er or TE. And if we stay put in the 3rd we go BPA.

I could see them trying to move up the board using Day 3 picks to get a LB like Fred Warner.

With that in mind: Lance Zierlein dropped a round 2-3 mock this morning that has us taking Malik Jefferson at 91

I really like him. He’s 6’5 and runs a 4.48. The QB play at Notre Dame limited him a lot. The guy can play.

I'd prefer a WR mainly because I think one would provide a bigger impact right away than whatever TEs are probably going to be left on the board. Might be some good offensive linemen sitting there as well that would be hard to pass up.

He has his limitations, but if you can get Jefferson in the third, that's a solid addition
