I believe this gets us the 2nd seed by week 17 based in tie breakers.

We win out and Philly and Minny both take one loss and we get the 1 seed.

Other possibilities too, but that's the most straight forward.

The one and two seed are still firmly in play.

Are you sure that’s right Bone? Minny has the direct tiebreaker over us and are currently 1.5 games up on us. They’d have to lose twice.

What also doesn’t help us - the only tough matchup the eagles have left is the Rams next week. The rams ALSO hold the tiebreaker over us as well. So we basically need Philly to lose to them and then for the Rams to lose to someone else. Luckily, the Rams play the Seahawks the following week...

Eagles play the Cowboys in the last week of the season. Zeke Elliot should be playing in that game. Not saying the Eagles will lose, but it's no gimme.

Direct tiebreaker doesn't count in a 3way tie

In Bones scenario (top 4 win out except for

1. Eagles beat LA
2. Vikings lose 1

This causes a 4 way tie between Phi, NO, LA, Min,

Saints win that tiebreaker.

In the event that Min wins out and the eagles lose 1 (vs LA) we have 3 way tiebreaker over Phi and LA for the 2 seed.

So next week we need to win and root for the Rams.

We will fall to the 3/4 seed in week after beating the jets but then after 2 division wins in week 16/17 we get the tiebreaker back again. Its pretty crazy but thats what i saw when trying out the playoff machine.

In a 3 way tie where all the teams didn't play each other (or each one has one win and one loss against the other two), head to head is out the window.

It then goes to conference record, followed by SoV(ictory), followed by SoS(chedule).

We have tie breakers in all 3 iirc, or are at least tied in conference record.

Basically in a 3 or 4 way tie with Philly involved, we'll take the tiebreakers as head to head is thrown out. If it's a 3 way with Minny and LAR, then we'd be out as we lost to both.

There is also a scenario if there is a 3 or 4 way tie with Sea winning the division instead of the Rams, but I don't know if we have the edge in SoV or SoS over Sea.
